Yes. Every employer in India is covered by the POSH Act, and organisations with 10 or more employees are specifically required to constitute an Internal Committee (IC) to receive and address complaints. Smaller establishments fall under a Local Committee instead. This webinar covers these requirements at a general level  organisations should confirm how they apply to their specific situation.

The Internal Committee (IC) is responsible for receiving and inquiring into complaints of sexual harassment at the workplace, conducting a time-bound inquiry, and recommending appropriate action, in line with the process set out under the POSH Act.
